PLEASE NOTE ALL ROUTES SHOWN HERE ARE ADVISORY ONLY AND SHOULD BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH A ROAD MAP AND RELATED TO YOUR OWN PERSONAL POINT OF DEPARTURE.
From the North/North East take a route to Wrexham then head south from Wrexham on the A483 passing Oswestry on its ringroad.
Shortly after Oswestry turn right (west) onto the A495, and continue on the A495 (look out for a LEFT turn to remain on this route!) through Meifod to meet with the A458 west of Llanfair Caerenion.

From the South/ East/Midlands take a route to the M6 and exit at junction 10a onto the M54, which continues on past Telford as the Shrewsbury bypass.
Follow the bypass around Shrewsbury, eventually turning off onto the A458 for Welshpool.
Go through Welshpool and continue on the A458 towards Dolgellau. About 18 miles out of Welshpool, just after Llangadfan, is...
...the small village of Foel - don't blink as you drive through or you'll miss it!
Turn left just after some white bungalows, (look for the "car park" sign & brown tourist board sign), and then follow the map below.
If you intend to travel by rail the nearest railway station is Welshpool which is about 18 miles from Luest Fach and you will need a taxi to finish your journey.

In the past some members have arranged to be picked up at the station by a member driving through Welshpool. Going back on Sunday isn't usually a problem as most people drive through Welshpool on the way home.
